Very cool.. I've seen it before. But never tried it. I use the bucket head for mine. It's basically a wet dry vacuum that attaches to a 5g bucket, and it has a similar attachment that i use so vacuum out the sump every couple months while doing a water change.

Fallow is 76 days. Nothing in or out. If you add even a frag your count time starts over. You can dose nitrates, and ghost feed to maintain a nutrients level in the system.
