My biocube keeps a ph that at max hits 8.0 and that tank grows sps fast. That tank always has the windows closed and always two people breathing so it’s very co2 rich. I wouldn’t worry to much about the ph. As long as there’s good surface agitation and flow it should be okay. If my corals stop...
I would say the polpy structure resembles a tgc creamsicle that has had its growth stunted. The photo is deff taken with uv leds a blue light filter and the saturation is turned up.
Check with a salifert before you make and changes. My trident shows lower numbers when the liquid in my container gets under 20 percent. When I see my number change more then the usual shift that’s when I test with salifert.
Yeah it’s bacterial, it’s gonna whip through your hammers/frogspawns/torches. I have used the kfc dip and am pritty positive it’s what saved my hammer, and octospawn after my torch melted just like that.

The tank is nearing its ten year old anniversary lol. Be careful what cheap corals you put in there in the beginning. Once you
Got them they will win eventually.
The biocube is getting overgrown with zoas and shrooms and making the sps stn from the base up from constant stinging : (. I could use 10 sticks of epoxy just to cover all the gsp, and zoas . I already have a cherrybomb and asd millie in the big tank but I clipped more frags to throw them in the...
This is Goliath, he can easily trap a fish if he wanted. I’m hoping he traps my
Melenarus wrasse cause I can’t add any other wrasses with him in there.
Dang for some reason every tank I own never supports big bubbles for my bounces. The mushrooms grow and all but the bubbles just become weak or discolored.
I have purchased 15 lbs of the unique corals Australian live rock and that’s been in my tank for a few months now. Maybe the particulates getting kicked up and the higher flow is pissing off the corals. Like a constant dust storm knocking into them. Pristine sps reefs tend to always be crystal...
