Hey just seeing if anyone is interested, I am trimming some of my sinulara back. So I'll be making a bunch of frags if anyone is interested let me know. Trades would be great, I will be cutting fairly large frags. Open for pretty much anything in return except GPS, xenia lol.
Yes but you can easily clean that with alcohol and you'll have to clean the tank anyway after with vinigar
Your not filling it with antifreeze. Your basically using about 3oz per hole and most of it burns off in the process. I've done about 50 holes this way and have never had any break or crack.
Drilling is super easy. Lay the tank on the ground with thw back panel facing up. Mark exactly where you want the holes, measure like 10x to make sure yourexqctly where you want to be. Get yourself some modeling clay. And put it where your going to drill your hole. Make an impression with the...
It would be a different look for sure. Only down side to anything in a salt tank is itll turn green. So youd be cleaning it with a toothbrush pretty much on the same schedule as cleaning your glass.
Pretty much. But you can also get a marine battery that 1000ah, if the batter is fully charged at 335w, that's 28amps at 12v , so a 1000ah battery will give you power for 38hours.
I have a battery back up for my return pump. But I also have a generator I can park outside my living room window and run the tank from there if needed.
Found one. Thanks guys. :) I'll be posting my results from my old lights(ai hydra 52) to new lights. (Ecotech radion xr30w gen 4) so stay tuned on my tank thread.
Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has a PAR meter(for LEDs) they'd be willing to share with me. I would gladly give you a choice of a few frags in return.. not sure if the club has one, or if any member would be willing. Let me know. Thank you
I've always had sand in my display tanks, love wrasses and some need the sand bed for sleeping. I have made the mistake of using super fine sand. Which is never good in an sps dominant tank with high flow. Its always a sand storm in the tank. I do like the larger grain sands and crushed...
I dont know if epoxy is the way to go... I encased some magnets in epoxy to try to angle my power heads a little more. And within a day of putting them in my tank I had 3 sps rtn, haven't lost a coral in 6 months prior. And after removing them and doing a water change and running carbon I...
