Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
It had almost a chrome blue/green with a odd shade of hot pink almost like the tgc inner core to my eyes, maybe when it turns into a colony it will get it again, I just hope it’s not getting too much light, like the confetti will tend to be all pink shades in overpowered light, it needs to be in...
Thanks for the kind words Eric, I’m alittle sad it shifted colors but it is deff in a completely different environment that once created those original colors, so can’t really help it lol
It prob took that tank about 2.5 years to look like that. Stability for some reason in that tank was so easy to maintain , found the right bio load and feeding regiment with a proper skimmer and everything took off from frags.
Thank you all for the kind words, I don’t get to watch my tank everyday so anytime I visit it, the tanks so relaxing to watch with the orange lense glasses and actinics.

Happen to have any pictures of the tank? With smaller systems I find it takes longer for bare bottoms to fully sustain them selfs. Without sand you remove so much surface area on each grain of sand that houses the bacteria so although there is biomedia, it will take awhile for the tank to...
Did you happen to upgrade the back pump to the maxijet? That’s what I have on my tank because it’s stronger then the original pump it comes with. Maybe try different angles with the return to push the top scum more towards the overflow.
What do you mean excessive bubbles?? I have a 29 as well and I promise you it can be a showstopping tank once it’s established and following the right routine.
Photography with leds is an art within itself. An orange filter for the phone helps and then tweaking the light settings around can get you what they look like to your human eye. For my tank runs the ab schedual as most other people I find that turning the blues up to 100, dropping the red and...
Thank you, I have a macro lense for my phone but you need to have the coral within a few inches of it for it to not mess the phone up, so only a few corals can get a macro of.
