I thought their live born babies were just fish food. I didn't know they were algae eaters. So were did you get them....I could use a couple in my sump.
I recently posted my experience at the Phoenix Aquarium (Sea Life Aquarium, Tempe, AZ), and thought I'd post to find out what aquariums you have visited.
Here are the ones I've visited recently:
Boston, MA
Baltimore, Maryland
Camden, NJ
Seattle, Washington
Juneau, Alaska

Thanks Tommy and Phil.
Tom, I wish I knew the All Blacks were here in the States. It's worth going to a match just to see the haka. I could never understand why the haka was not consider unsporting behavior, but definitely worth watching while they badger the opposing team. Anyway, the...
There are some things you just don't want to know. My wife pays the bills, so I have no idea. However, I know it's a lot better now then it was a couple years ago. I originally ran T5s and a skimmer with a MAG 24. These two pieces of equipment drew 480 watts and 265 watts, respectively...

I'm not sure what pump you have, but I have the Aquatec 8800 where you can adjust the pressure from an allen screw on the top of the pump. Opening the flush valve just doesn't sound right.
I have to agree that a MAG 3 would be ideal. Just used RC's Head Loss Calculator and making some guess with elbows and height, came up with 240 gph. The MAG 7 with same height and elbows was at 414. If you still wish to use the MAG 7, I would not put a valve directly on the return line...
