I knew surface agitation was necessary that is why I plugged only the pump in from the biocube.
I'm thinking when I setup my 135 buy 2 of the battery...
So hopefully this new stand will be sufficient and work out for me. I'm about to order 2 standpipes, the light is mounted and I just need the stand and I can fill this thing!
So I sat floor level and saw that there is about a 1/2 inch gap or so in the front of the stand from the tank edging. I called reef encounters and they're exchanging the stand for me.
Only reason I see it as viable is because my sump I have enough room for my skimmer and return pump.
I may use a second 30 gallon and make that a fuge.

I've been doing the cup method, basically I fill a solo cup with my tank water and use half the LFS water in the bag and pour 1/4 of cup of my tank water every 15 minutes into the bag water....
guess for the bigger tank I'll need to drip the fish
The stand is made out of about 1/4" - 1/2" steel or iron(not sure which) There is a center brace right across the middle of the tank that is not visible. I purchased the stand from reef encounters over in Hackensack.
5 inch by 5 inch IS VERY thick wood.

I am in the process of setting up a 135 gallon tank and this is the picture of it on the stand
I am wondering should I place a piece of plywood over the top of the stand? The edges are flat and do not have a lip to place the tank into.
