    Power out!

thankfully the power went back on! Wheew disaster avoided. In the future what do you suggest I have on hand incase it does go out again? I knew surface agitation was necessary that is why I plugged only the pump in from the biocube. I'm thinking when I setup my 135 buy 2 of the battery...

    steel stand help

So I sat floor level and saw that there is about a 1/2 inch gap or so in the front of the stand from the tank edging. I called reef encounters and they're exchanging the stand for me.

    Why not?

Only reason I see it as viable is because my sump I have enough room for my skimmer and return pump. I may use a second 30 gallon and make that a fuge.

    Why not?

If a hang-on fuge is a "hang-on fuge" why can't it be hung on a sump? why must it be connected to the main tank?

The stand is made out of about 1/4" - 1/2" steel or iron(not sure which) There is a center brace right across the middle of the tank that is not visible. I purchased the stand from reef encounters over in Hackensack. 5 inch by 5 inch IS VERY thick wood. I think the stand will hold fine my...
