    My inexpensive RAP buy..

Blueberry gorgonian, non photosynthetic. They can be kept alive and that is actually a nice piece. We did really well with them when they were spot fed unhatched and newly hatched baby brine.

    Is This Too Big?

Mag 9.5 pushes 950g so having it throttled all the way down would be just about equal. I would assume if would use a ton less electricity.

Also glad we are feeling better. Next time if you don't want to come just say so, you don't have to put yourself in the hospital.

We had a blast with helping and attending. We won the three day full passes to MACNA in DC which is awesome becasue we had not purchased tickets yet, looks like we will be going now. It was awesome seeing a bunch of vendors face to face again and picking out some wonderful corals and a fish...

    Chalice

Ok those are the more "normal" chalice colonies out there. The top one is a miami hurrican that has been around forever and is aquaculutred by mostpeople at this point. This is good news because it is less finicky than a wild caught piece. It also grows like a weed so it is a great starter...

    Chalice

Post the picture of the one you want, there are several different kinds with different requirements. GENERALLY, they are low light (think 150-200) PAR and low to medium flow. Some are extremely low light and others can take some light. Some grow like crazy with huge stinging feeders and...

We are looking for volunteers for Friday, Satruday, and Sunday. Please PM me if you would like to help out the...

    The 210 tank build

Doing well. We had a fuse blow on the naturereef and I was not testing so the nitrates and phosphates spiked up. However, we got it fixed rather quickly and everything is back on track and doing better. Zoas and shrooms did amazing during that time but SPS got really pissed. We are not...

Rob's time for an upgrade 180

The problem with Alk spikes is that they corals can go days and even weeks later. SPS is a finicky coral and alk spikes can be a killer, I know this from experience.

    Looking for opinions

We have moved twice with tanks and it sucks, there is no way to sugar coat that at all. However, with planning it can be done pretty easily. Also, moving over the next few months would be great because it takes weather concerns out of it. I would wait to see if the grant comes through first...
