    Heaters

    In line heaters are crazy expensive compared to regular heaters that is why people shy away. I agree with multiple smaller heaters. For your sized tank look at the cobalt neotherms. They are small and reviewed very well.

    It all depends on what fish you think you are going to put in your tank. If you are looking at big fish, you need a bigger QT, smaller fish smaller QT. That space is tough, maybe a 30g cube at 18x18?

    A QT tank is a completely separate tank that is not plumbed in or connected to your display in and way shape or form. This is done on purpose so that no disease can get from your new fish to your existing fish. People will put the new fish in the QT tank and treat it and make sure it is eating...
