Sounds like you need more than one, LOL. Besides the actual size of the skimmers, there does not seem to be much difference. They both use the same pump and draw the same lph, so I guess you choose the one that fits in your sump the best?

I use the Rox carbon and fill it maybe 3/4 of the way, the rowa maybe half.

90% of the time hlle is a nutrition problem. The other ones seem to be stray voltage and carbon not being controlled properly.

We have used fiji pink in all of our tanks and have been very happy with it.

We run ours through the dishwasher after we feed because of that. I had a long skinny baster for target feeding corals that I did not clean once, went to reuse it and all this junk came out of the baster bulb. Learned my lesson on that one too.

I have some extra 100 degree kicking around from my mazzaras depending on how many you need if you want to give those a shot.

A move is always time for an upgrade! I am no good with plumbing but I know a couple of people on here have a manifold (as do I) so hopefully they will chime in. How many "Ts" do you plan on running and what do you plan on running off the manifold? Is it possible to upgrade your sump...

Disregard what I said about the silicone stuff, I rememberd who I heard it from and talked to them. It was a grease you put on the silicone BEFORE you put it in storage, not after. Again, leak test the thing.
