Sounds like a plan. What are the dimensions of the frag tank going to be? What are you going to use as racks? Sounds like you are pretty handy so I would order the extra acrylic and rods and build blue glow style ones, but that is just me.

Besides the actual size of the skimmers, there does not seem to be much difference. They both use the same pump and draw the same lph, so I guess you choose the one that fits in your sump the best?
Hit up ultra corals, I don't think he is too far from you. I am also blanking on the name of the reefer who lived down in south jersey with the amazing SPS tank, he put up a thread on how to diy a sump.
We run ours through the dishwasher after we feed because of that. I had a long skinny baster for target feeding corals that I did not clean once, went to reuse it and all this junk came out of the baster bulb. Learned my lesson on that one too.
A move is always time for an upgrade!
I am no good with plumbing but I know a couple of people on here have a manifold (as do I) so hopefully they will chime in. How many "Ts" do you plan on running and what do you plan on running off the manifold? Is it possible to upgrade your sump...

Disregard what I said about the silicone stuff, I rememberd who I heard it from and talked to them. It was a grease you put on the silicone BEFORE you put it in storage, not after. Again, leak test the thing.
