I don't know if this will work for anyone else. But I've been putting bright white plugs, next to my new frags and so far any aptasia I missed, have moved onto the plug and I threw it out.

Little tips I noticed made a difference were... Very slow bubble rate. Like a bubble a second. They like the container a little dirty/mulmy. I use full reef salinity. Put a light on the container, even a dim one 24/7 is better than none. And they are very sensitive to ammonia , I accomplished...
Right? It's one of my favorite corals, I had it shipped to me with an Indo Pacific sea farms order, before my tank was even fully cycled. I don't know if it's my tank or the type but he barley sheds for longer than over night.
I did it in a 2 gallon tea container, tisbe pods and I used phyto and fish food. It did very well changing a gallon of water a week. But I got lazy and it crashed. I think it's more worth getting some eBay pods and phyto and just breed them out for a few cycles, dose them all clean everything...
I got ebay pods and phyto. Put them in a couple gallon container with an air pump and breed the numbers up, you can keep them multiplying pretty easy for a few rounds
I might be interested. I've always wanted one, I don't have the tank for it at the moment but I'm slowly trying to get equipment together for when it's upgrade time.
