Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I've tried BB and i gotta say, its not bad and would try it again on a larger scale system. Especially if it were to be an SPS dominated system.
On a smaller scale, i say, in the 90 or less, with good placement of rock and a couple of good powerheads, you can keep sand clean and build up of...
its a good price for a used one but if you're not in a rush to buy, i would wait. i've seen some full apex sold for less than that. just keep your eye out in the usual places and be ready to paypal. lol I got my Apex Full for $300 but that was like 2 years ago.
I just have a thing for shallower tanks. the 30 isnt my preferred dimensions. if it were available, i would get a 36x30x16 but do to my current living situation its not practical for me to start on build larger than this.

ask for a picture of the actual modules. this doesn't sound like a GOLD. sounds more like a Apex Jr with the additional modules.
once you get them, post them here or compare them to the GOLD package Apex sells.

I did finish baffling up the sump which is one step closer.
anywho... here is a pic of my current 40b that's been holding me down till i set this one up...
I have a 24" 4 bulb aqua traders fixture and it is only one plug and has built in timers. works very well, just need to replace the bulbs obviously if you purchase one.
Ok, so this might be a long stretch any my description probably wont help but I am looking for an acro that holds a special little space in my heart. lol it was the very first acro i have ever bought, it was browned out and minimal polyp extension was on special at the LFS. I nursed this thing...
