Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
that sounds annoying but i wouldnt worry too much. im pretty sure youre protected by paypal and ebays buyer protection policy and its pretty clear that it wasn't delivered to your address. sounds like the seller made a typo or something when writing the address, he/she will probably end up...
they are definitely a cheaper product than say a vortech or tunze pump. mine has had little problems here and there. but for the money, they last long enough (i've had mine since august) and they work really well. i think i would probably buy another one if the one i had broke because the...
i remember coming across this before. i think the general consensus is that they can be useful in home aquariums but they're mostly used for systems where water-changes aren't practical. i wouldnt think this is a cheaper option for home aquariums but i can agree that it will help cut down on...
i usually thaw out a cube in the morning and feed with it throughout the day. sometimes ill feed it the next day if i forget. recently switched to mostly pellets though and its a lot less of a mess.
they all honor this. recently petco has switched over to Tetra tanks from Aqueon though. i think people liked the aqueon tanks better, thats what i have.
yea this store is pretty awesome. mike does a really awesome job at getting in rare/colorful/popular corals and selling them at great prices. the only other place ive seen that has such a large selection of cool/desirable frags and corals is at Elos and we all know their prices. i just wish this...
supposedly they do taste pretty good. i think harvesting them is the problem right now, its not economical. i saw a company that sells lionfish filets on the shark tank once and i think i remember that being the problem
if they do eat mysis, you have to feed them PE mysis or else they wont be able to get enough nutrients. mine lasted for a while on regular mysis before it stopped eating and passed. theyre cool fish
i've tried collecting water and its not really fun wading in the surf with a 5 gallon bucket. its actually a little embarrassing if there are a lot of people on the beach. that was in the summer and it would be super cold now. the water i did collect had a bunch of sand/sediment in it and it...
im way too lazy to test. i wasted my money on a bunch of tests and used them a few times. i really applaud those who test all their params weekly, of course their tanks are usually the best anyways
so i cant resist myself from upgrading once i got the ball rolling. i contacted tropiquarium and the hidden reef about the deep blue 80g. trop can get the rimless reef-ready version for $290 which is an awesome price. the hidden reef said $359.49 for RR frag tank and $306.99 for the non-drilled...
things are growing nicely. i'm thinking im going to upgrade to a deep blue 80g frag tank or something similar. if i do that, i'll probably try to sell a lot of the corals i have with a few exceptions.
i have a lot of new additions, i kinda went crazy buying coral in november. the highlights are...
