Thanks everyone
I really think its is going to need a chiller
At the present time I am not running the lights so I do not know what the temps will be
Jason
Did not hear much sound from the ballast
I still have two Koralias #1s to put in
I seeded the sand with some from my other tanks
Most of the rock came from there also
Jason
Today I washed and put the sand in,Then I went downstairs and got some rock from the sump.
I really do not know if I like the big piece on the top, Most of the rock I have are larger pieces so I might have to take a hammer to a piece or two ;D
What is your budget?
There are alot of diferent designs out there Neddelwheel,Airstone,Beckett,
What is the max height you can have if you are going to put it in the stand
Start looking at EuroReef,MTC,MRC,ASM
Jason
Last night My wife and I put the stand together
Today the tank showed up and I am still waiting for the sand and two powerheads to show up
I am in the process of making water
So tomarrow I should have water sand and rock in it
Jason
Re: I'm back!!!
Tank showed up ;D
Frigin heavy for a 28
I guess I will try and get water in it tomorrow
I am making water as I type
What are you going to do about the heat issue with the lighting?
Ar you going to get a chiller?
Jason
Re: I'm back!!!
yep I ordered the same setup
The stand showed up and I put it together last night
The Tank is showing on the Fed Ex truck out for delivery today
when you get your stand I glued the dowels in place and then put more glue in the other holes when I put it together. You will see...
What are you going to keep in the tank?
I don't know if T5s will penetrate that deep
If it was me for that deep of a tank I would be using MH with a T5 supplement
Jason
There is no reason to make the Hood 18"-22" high
Here is a link to my Gallery on RC I have some pictures there
The hoods I made are 12" high

As you might be able to see the whole front lifts up
