what if you'd put one of those plastic ice pack blocks in the sump? you could pick up a few and switch them out when needed. I have no idea if it'd be a good idea or not to do that though, maybe someone else could chime in on that?

Wow, great shot Greg! While last night we didn't get hit, we've had so many storms and crazy lighting all summer long. A few weeks ago there were a few strikes that hit some houses in the area. A few Million $$$ homes in Shark River Hills got pretty badly damaged from what I heard.
