This is Bahama Aragonite Sand. (Calcium Carbonate) It is cleaned and washed out all the ultra-fine sand by Reef Rocks so you won't have a sand storm in your tank with sand drifting around in the current.

So what is the best bacterial additive to add to the tank at the beginning to jump start and possibly avoid a cycle? I know there are people on here that use the additive and have fish the next day, so please don't say it isn't possible ;)

Paul I agree and told him the same thing. I'm looking at $140 led units for my fowlr...I can't see using up the burn time on those types of fixtures on a fowlr. But Mike is right....Brandon will get bored and be adding zoas and chalices before we can blink lol

In case you are all wondering.... Brandon and I are both putting 180's online...and we are both in the same boat.

What is a good cheap LED system for a FOWLR tank? Now that everything I had is dead, I am going FOWLR since I don't live in the same place as my tank anymore. It'll be less maintenance...I'll save corals for my 300 Gallon Reef when I buy a house. So what is a good cheap LED system to put over...
