thanks! algae yes. diatoms a little bit if I'm correct. there's still algae on the sand, but the gem is always eating it, and I have a lawnmower blenny to help.

quick update. finally installed and started dialing in my Avast Marine Sea Bones calcium reactor. it's so hard to find time to work on the tank with a newborn!!

I spoke w him already.

I did bare on my 50g. now with my 200g I went with sand for a more realistic look and because at some point I'm adding wrasses.
