hey all. does anyone use a booster pump for their RODI? does it help? does it really save water? is it worth it? I'm looking at the Aquatic Life booster pump, but not sure yet if it's worth it. opinions?

you can also just get an overflow box and kit. i had a lifereef overflow on my 110g. never had any issues.

I've had both. my 36, 72, 110, 14, and 50g all had sand. my current setup 50g is bare bottom. the next tank the 200g will have sand. even though I like how the sps encrusted the floor in my 50g, I think sand is more a natural look. it's all up to you based on your style and taste.

here's my take. sometimes when on the other sites, and theres hundreds or people commenting, you end up getting advice from people who CLAIM they know what they're doing. many people nowadays think they're experts just because they've watched YouTube videos and have a 34g tank that's thriving...
