It was on bottom in the middle attached to a rock. Why it decide get up and go during the night??? I have done that before in tanks where I had the PH rather low.

Damn, did not even consider that. Nem liked the middle section of tank so rearranged it and seemed happy. But since you mentioned this, nem is gone. No clue why as it looked like it was going to split. So I don't think I will be getting nems again.

Well after 3 days of peroxide dosing and 24hrs of carbon; happy to report water is so much more clear and skimmer acting normal again. Still no clue what It was.

Same problem here. Only I think mine were the snails. I posted two pics in another thread. Using carbon to try and clear the water.

Yesterday after the CBS was in the power head I noticed the water was cloudy. Jackie later asked what was this stringy stuff floating. It was snail eggs. This morning while doing some maintenance this white mucus stuff floated out of no where. I scooped it out. Any ideas what it is? I plan to...

I managed to scoop out the Hector goby by sure luck. I lifted the top and it assumed food and quickly netted it. My wife was very impressed.....LOL

I feel bad because really thought it was a shed and could have taken it off 8am this morning. :(

Woke up this morning and saw the shed of my CBS in the power head, no big deal. Later decided to net it out and turns it was actually the shrimp. Fish were picking on it so placed it into a small container. Will see how it does.

Wonder if that is the same guy in FB market place. Opened container for $45, if I remember correctly.
