Def. Better off selling off equipment. Chances of someone wanting to purchase an entire setup are slim and if so they are not going to be willing to pay the price you are probably going to ask for. You can def recoup some of your money by parting everything out.
Is it algae or detritus that has built up over time that is in the sandbed? If so just do sections at a time when doing water changes. I usually put a siphon right next to baster when cleaning sections of my sandbed and by the time I fill up 5 gallons the water is doodoo brown.
I’m using the powder AFR and it’s been great. The large container last me about You get alot more for your money using the powder over the liquid. I do Consume a lot of alkalinity so instead of bumping up my AFR use I just supplement with my own alk solution to keep my numbers level. I...
Anyone have a small mushroom box for sale. Need to acclimate and attach an Electus mushroom without losing it in my tank. I know I can get at Saltwater aquarium but just checking here first.

I’ve acquired 2 of these guys from a friend who shut his tank down. They are West African biscuit starfish. From what I have researched, they are reef safe. They have some pretty neat markings on them and so far doing fine in the tank
Update:
So far so good. He has been a model fish. I have caught him biting my Monti’s but I have so much he will actually help keep it trimmed as well as help with filing his teeth.
I have to say I love the Avast feeder. The auger style is so precise with feedings. I feed freeze dried 4 times a day and every time I know I am getting the same amount each time. I throw in a concoction of freeze dried foods and mix it up in the canister. Fish know when feeding times are as...
I have my return sealed from the display so snails can’t get into the plumbing. My return lines in the tank are not big enough for a snail to crawl into.
