unfortunately an aggressive clown it's very common. I never understood why they are described as peaceful. I have never seen a peaceful clown. With that said, feeding before the new addition, turning the lights off or using an acclamation box for the new fish helps greatly. Good luck!

Thanks for the input guys. Seems like bio pellets are very love hate. Half of the people love them, half blame them for a crash haha.

That return pump will be more than enough if your only using it as your return and not on a manifold to feed reactors.

+1. If it will be close to that cement wall a 75 will not even be close to an issue. Also the best part of the hobby to me is selecting all the parts and putting it together. I would not enjoy a kit type tank.

From what I have read other things can skew this even consumption such as coraline algae, bacteria from carbon dosing. My tank never had even consumption on kalk either

I need to rent a cargo van or truck to pickup a tank, I need to go about 120 miles. Looks like no matter where I rent I am looking at roughly 100$ plus gas for the trip. Does anyone know where I can get something cheaper, or does someone want to help haha. Dance Thanks, Joe

If your alk is still staying stable with kalk, I would just dose calcium twice a week so it is not such a big jump. Coral are not as sensitive to calcium changes as they are alk changes but a 40 ppm at one time is pushing it.
