Will this work for AWC with the Dos

Just out of Just out of curiosity why would this not work? Is it a matter of kinking too easy or just not reef safe?

Will this work for AWC with the Dos

So it looks like this tubing is vinyl (pvc) no different than using pvc pipe for plumbing. I have everything run and gonna give it a shot. If I notice any I’ll effects then I guess I will swap out and use poly tubing.

Will this work for AWC with the Dos

So I’m in process of setting up DOS for AWC and came across 1/4 irrigation tubing which fits nice and snug in the John Guest fittings. I can get 100 ft of the black for about 5.00. Is there a reason not to use this tubing

    What do you dose?

Just other trace minerals that calcium amd alkalinity alone does not provide. Iodide, strontium and other essential minerals I don’t remember

    What do you dose?

I’m using Prestone Driveway heat for calcium and baked baking soda for Alkalinity. These 2 are from Randy’s 2 part also. I also recently started to add 10 ml of Kent Essentials in the calcium and alkalinity containers thanks to Maximus suggestion. So far so good

    Small weekend project

So I needed access to the side of my tank for the magnets to my powerheads and just in case I end up getting another mp10. The tank was set up with the right side tight against the wall so I decided to make a picture frame in the laundry/fish room now I have access to right rear of tank as well...

    AWC on a 40 breeder?

Yeah that’s the one thing that I keep circling back to is the chance of something getting stuck on or off amd dumping too much or not enough in tank. Eventhough I can set it up on Apex that worries me a little bit. After all I do enjoy tinkering with tank but I am always looking for something to...

Lots of fern caleurpa macro algae

Interesting I guess the Kent trace makes up for the missing elements. How do you know how much to put in each container. Also you don’t get any precipitation when you add to each element?

Lots of fern caleurpa macro algae

Do you dose the trace elements on top of calcium and alk?
