    540 is very high and its why I will be changing salt. I am actually changing due to the high alk because I like to keep it at 8. From everything I have read a calcium level that high will not hurt anything.

    My latest batch of rc tested 13 alk, 540 calcium, and 1480 mag. So your levels are from the water changes, but none of your levels are dangerous.

    Phosguard should be SLIGHTLY moving otherwise you will grind them up into your tank.

    Just to clarify, he means to cover the tank with a blanket or similar so no light gets in, not to cover your reactor. Just wanted to make sure you were on the same page.
