    Unexplained death

    These fish are sometimes caught by using cyanide. When they are collected using cyanide they tend to last a few months then their organs begin to fail. I would look into where the fish was caught. , Joe

    I have used aquamend, JB water weld, and the aquarium specific stuff.... the water weld was WAY stronger than the other 3 or 4 brands I have used. Joe

    I went close to a year without a water change but my levels were spot on because I was dosing. Then when I moved I changed about 50% of the water a saw growth the next month like I have never seen before. My growth exploded, so this proved to me that I was missing something that dosing alk...

    It was mentioned already but my sand sifting goby killed a plate coral by always covering it with sand. You will probably have to clean sand off coral daily....

    I use to does vit C for a carbon source and to help with color. One side effect I did notice was high alk levels, so keep an eye on your alk. , Joe
