Went to see how the baffles fit and hey are very snug. Do I tap them to make them straight and then use aquarium silicone to keep in place and seal? I am worried about cracking the tank.

Not familiar with pipe fish but assume the similarity in color is the issue. Two males seeking dominance maybe.

They seem sturdy and are fairly thick. I assume aquarium silicone works to glue them in place.

Have not figured that out yet. When I turn the dial the light goes to 2 or 5. So I put it at 2 which I had initially.

Stand and baffles ordered. Went with a different baffle set, you get one extra. Should all be here around 8/9.

Mike at 5 it seems strong.

The stand I ordered is 281/4 tall. The 20L is 12 inches high as oppose to the 29L which is 18 inches high. I get 6 extra inches to get equipment in and out easier, I hope.
