Mine hides like 35% of the time as well but he’ll get used to the tank and will be out a little more.. just try to find it he may be in the most tiny place. Good luck

I’m no expert but this looks like algae for me I have used a toothbrush and them remove the filter Flos ..

I know you are big on kessil.. let’s see how it looks after it’s on.. I added a old a150 ocean blue to my radions in bringin it up to 15 inches and I love the mix..
