Here is pic for those that asked. The brace sits 1" above the top rim. I did see a 48" light similar but it was almost $200. Why I was looking at the other lights.

Marcus, I saw those. the 180w are $50 each. My concern is quality; pay $100 now and a year later or less buy something better so wasted money. The other is nice cause its programmable but not sure if justifies the cost for an unknown.

Did that and still looks yellow. I can live with the appearance for now just worried about an algae outbreak. Should I use two blues?

I found this on Amazon. The fresh water description states 2" height but cannot find it here.

So looking at LED lights I ran into an issue. The tank brace is broken so there is a piece of bamboo wood being used to support it. It rises about 1 or 1.5 inches high. Most of the LED strip light is low and will not fit. Any suggestions as I am on a budget. Hanging from ceiling is not an option

Today noticed only 2 of the 4 bulbs were lit on my Solar Extreme T5 fixture. Since its old I assumed the bulbs went so replaced them and still no light. The bulbs are good because I swapped them with the working ones. It seems to be those to positions 1 and 3. I placed two 14k bulbs in position...

No luck with sand stars. I stir the sand every 2 weeks apx. I have a blue linkia and urchin so rock is good.

I have stopped the medication for about a week now and both fish are alive and eating well. How do I know when it will be okay to introduce new fish? Do wait the normal fallow of 10-12 weeks or is it longer?
