For the most part, RODI filters are interchangeable. Suggest you check out BRS TV's recommendations on replacement filters. They'll go as far as telling you WHY they recommend one brand over another.
In the past I've quite successfully used a Buck Bros "hand saw" for slicing rock, but it looks like it is no longer made as I can't find it on the internet.

The 90 is currently attached to a 65 with a half dozen orphaned (smaller) fish from other people, so the 90's size really shouldn't be a limiting factor.

A few thoughts...
~~~ The biggest problem with simply replacing a panel is the unpleasant fact that silicone DOES NOT adhere to silicone very well (if at all).
~~~ One way to separate siliconed glass pieces is with "piano wire".

I think any doser is capable of failing - especially the ones (like most) that have only two wheels pressed against the tubing, not three. That said, it sounds like you had the level of the liquids being dosed above the level of the tank water that was being dosed into, as siphoning...
