Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I've been going to AF (and the predecessor, AT) for a good 23 or 24 years now.
With regard to the "pricey" comments in this thread, expertise is simply NOT economically inexpensive. Most of the old timers at AF (and I'm on a first name basis with most of them) know what they're talking about...

I've been in the hobby a long while, and I think MTC products are bulletproof. I have one of their calcium reactors that I bought used and they took it back and upgraded it to the current model for me. Who do you know who'll do that for you? They're located in Oakland, NJ. I don't know...
