Thanks everyone for the replies. I checked the socks and they do have a slight bleach smell to them even though washed and dried a few weeks back. I will rinse the next one out before replacing.

I think we need some clarity as to what is meant by green polyps. There are some green polyp zoas and palys, etc.

I have two frags about 12 polyps each. They are tan/brown but under blue+ bulbs are green. Can bring them on 21st or possibly meet.

They are not new, felt and I clean them in the washer with some bleach.

If you feel your skimmer is weak I would not add peroxide. I would also slowly increase the vinegar as it could cause a cyano outbreak. I speak from experience on these 2 points. Your best bet might be to get a few gallons of Kent Tech M and dose that. People on this forum and others have had...

I have been dosing vinegar and peroxide and have seen some relief. I dose 1ml per 10g water of both daily, 8ml peroxide and 30ml vinegar.Good luck.

I pulled these pieces out about 2 months ago because they covered in hair algae. I soaked them in a peroxide water solution. I don't plan to re-use them so if anybody wants theme let me know.
