how long did you cure the LR before adding to the display? Most of that algae looks like it's consuming something off the LR. The LR itself may be leeching CO2 due to curing/decomp. Otherwise i'm all out of ideas!

Fisharefriends only states that he purchased 2 fish and they died. Did you Quarantine them? What other fish are in the tank? What are the parameters? What is the size of the tank? When did they die - was it a week later? a day later? Were they eating? what did you feed them? How long...

LOL. Don't feel like your tank is doing anything unusual. Just want to encourage you that all tanks go thru this stage. You will be just fine. keep up with the water changes, maybe supplement the crew that has died off. If you want you can reduce the photoperiod. But I'd consider trying...

i didn't know they had any. I know aquatic obsessions brought 4 of them and sold out within a few.

yellow coris wrasse. However as it gets bigger it may turn it's attention on your snails.

oh i have no experience with these but i heard some aquarists use the lawmower blenny like you are thinking about , or emerald crabs. Another more interesting selection would be a sea hare - but they will die once finished eating. Sometimes aquarists will lend one among all the tanks.

I agree with RWC...the tank looks new. The algae appears to be is congregated on low flow areas underneath the flow of your powerheads. It also doesn't appear to by dyno or the dreaded bryopsis. It just looks like regular hair algae which is very common in this hobby. What is your PH and Alk...
