i tried this but it is only a temporary save. In your case - (like mine) another fish has become preoccupied with the mirror and the culprit fish is free to continue to chase the others. you may need multiple mirrors.

i use chrome with no issues...

After every water change I always take a spray bottle with a mixture of water/vinegar and spray the front and wipe away any hard water/salt residue. I heard about this via jerseywendy...it works!
