Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
bring cash. alternatively pre-order the stuff you want from the vendors (then you could possibly pay via credit card) and ask them to bring to the swap. Ask if the vendor will do this - most should.
As some of you know i was away a few weeks ago on a brief business trip for 48 hrs. When I got back my copperband was nowhere to be found (not on floor or the overflows or sump, and no pets that would eat anything off the floor). I asked my wife if she noticed the anemone spitting anything out...
I just want to say this RBTA is a fantastic color - mine (of the exact same heritage) is a beauty and loves t5 lighting. Great great deal for whoever gets it!
ralph hasn't been in the hobby in I'd guess 2~3 years. The first frag swap I was at with the club was the last time I saw him active. For what it's worth my memory said he used a BANK of 6 VHOs for his 55 nem tank.
I am probably the only person here that has seen this - but an old japanese fantasy flick (4 short stories) in 1964 called Kwaidan? It's all in japanese (subtitles). I actually enjoyed it as the movie is based on fairy tales (told by the japanese). Supposedly grandparents told stories to the...
Just to add what steamman linked.
Prices are needed on all items posted. Otherwise you run the risk of getting silly offers like $1 etc. There's no need for that kind of post padding. Worse you get people who won't sell because later another person "bids higher" which results in more hurt...
maybe go the local reporter route - like the cbs shame on you program. In NJ they have a smaller version of that called "kane on your corner" - it's a local cable news channel, like nyones for NYC.
unlike freshwater - (where you can possibly save fish after inception of disease) - my experience with trying to save fish from disease is dismal. Granted this was like back in the 80s when I thought UGF, bleached corals and cannister filters rocked. So presuming you will be purchasing more fish...
for what it's worth PSEG was down in my area for hurricane irene and when we called - they first said 6AM then later changed it to 8PM but then the power came back on between that. In the end we lost power for 24 hrs, but they had given us a "2 day" window. So hopefully your company is just...

Best thing to do is obtain a large bucket. Fill with water. get the water temp up. Now count how many cups you need to get the water to the desired salinity. Get a sharpie and mark the bucket for how much water to add, and note down how many cups of salt you needed.
Now goign forward all you do...

Sid - I saw LIT - that was scarlet johanson's big break movie (or at least that was the first time I recalled seeing her). Unfortunately I...
I decided to google more on sand fleas/mole crabs. I read here: http://www.beachconnection.net/news/mcrab050807_0253.htm that they live for only 18 months (max). I'd guess the website would only sell you the adult ones - which means maybe 6~12 months lifespan (if they had enough to eat)...
