Is the alkalinity of my water to high? It's measuring at 300ppm. Is this why my Xenia seems to be disintegrating? How do i reduce it if it's to high? PH is 8.5. Thanks, Mark

Does it have a white lateral line? Usually sign of being malnurished. Are there any wounds from the blue? Try hanging some romain or spinach leaf and see if it eats. Nothing to do except wait.

Because of evaporation the SG is now 1.022. I used Kent supper buffer and the PH is at 8.2. The corals are starting to look healthier. Thanks everyone for the advise. Mark

Candi, I agree with Tom. Your biggest concern is bowing or splitting. I have one in which I keep 3 turtles. It can probally hold about 30 gallons of water. I only fill it about 3/4 and it bows. Mark

John, It's a CPR hang-on, 19"L x 14"H x 4.5"W. It extends about 3" above the tank. The water is about 1" from the top of fuge. The light sits about 1.5" above it. Trying tp post pics of fuge but not working. Will try later. Mark
