So I decided to get to the back and mow the yard down shorter as we do get rabbits in the back and I was thinking maybe a tick on a rabbit hops onto grass and then on to my kid.
Anyways - I'm mowing and I see something hop out of the way - tiny like a cricket you might get at the LFS. On closer...
So aside from my tick story - I have another story to share. I can't get over the tick - since that thing was on my daughter the entire time she did her ballet recital today!!! :P
Anyways - we're at the recital and the place is freezing and we just finished watching two performances (there are...
We asked the doctor if theyw anted to see the tick - but they declined. So I already crushed the little nasty.
it looked very much like the juvi pic here:
The body was hard - like a amphipod exoskeleton and did not feel "squishy" or full of any liquids.
Anyways - I will bring her to the...
thanks....we're watching the "spot". My wife is upset with herself as she washed my daughters hair every day for the past 3 days and she only noticed it today. The daughter now claims it felt "itchy" since before friday. Hard to say if that was just normal dandruff talking or something biting...
Same here.
I'm running an MRC1 but with the extender/body which would be the equivalent of a 2 I guess. I have mine T'd off the return as well. The pump is pressure rated so I believe I am ok. However I do notice a lower than optimal flow on my return line. Frankly I have been thinking of...
It was so GROSS. It was not engorged but the thing was attached on like a clam to the substrate. It was so so so nasty. I'm going to have a hard time eating dinner tonight. In Manhattan we dealt with roaches big and small and of course the kids had head lice check ups but out here in Jersey do I...
Thanks! - not 100% sure but was told it is a purple bonsai type coral. It was from a tank break-down of a former NJRC member (mike napoli). It's the only coral in my tank that did well under LEDs. The frag started with 3 polyps or so maybe a year ago or so.
I placed this on my LR yesterday and thought it had tilted over a little and wanted to set it again - and to my surprise - it was completely locked in. :)
Love it - as always - great healthy and sweet deal. It is a rare clam that looks nice from above AND from the side!
Now I need to move that...

your "criticism" is neither constructive and neither are your bizarre references to clothing. I don't know why you feel it so vital to attack people. It really does no purpose other than possibly to drive people away from looking for help on this...

Get started on the QT now. Maybe someone can handle the fishes for the last few weeks.
If the fish live the next 3 weeks in...
in your situation i would try and see if someone nearby can QT the fish for you.
do you have corals or inverts in the display? Maybe you could treat the entire display tank.
the other option would be to see if the fish can fight it off themselves by improving nutrition/food and increasing...
