yep - cheato should out-compete the cyano for it. I have cyano also and also cheato (though I have to replace the bulb).

i agree. Also other wrasses (sixline) may see it as a threat and attack. My yellow coris wrasse killed my leopard....(it also didn't help that the guy wouldn't eat).

the only downside to the glass ones is if they get unstuck from the tank, they float around. When mine floated - it was attracted to the tunze magnet and slammed into it...glass broke, metal beads here:

go the used direction - there should be a flood of hob skimmers out there. remora pro is the one people use and some love it/hate it. But you get that with a lot of skimmers.
