Are you sure you haven’t confused your GFO bucket with the carbon bucket? The reason I say that is that I never labeled my carbon and GFO until recently. The way I figured out which was which was using a magnet. GFO is an iron oxide. Carbon is carbon, and definitely not magnetic!

Rod, that is wild! Just to be clear, all those white spots on the blackish colored discus are the babies? Another question, and it is probably foolish, if other discus were in the tank, can the babies identify their parents, or would they try to attach to any discus?
