    Centerpiece Fish

A big old wrasse would look awesome in there and be reef safe. Look at the anampses wrasses. They are bigger but are stunners (lennardi, feminus). Also if you want a bit smaller but awesome, get a pair of flasher wrasses, they are stunning when they flash.

Thinking of returning to the hobby

Glad to see you back, we are still here if you need any help. Good news is while you have been gone they found a cure for bryopsis so you don't have to worry about it any more. If you are posting this you know you want back in. We don't have any AOI kicking around but we have like a 30g tank...

    Trop closing?

I was told that the large display fish and corals were going to service companies who have the clients for those sort of fish. We would have loved a few of them but they were all spoken for.

    Trop closing?

We popped in there today and it was actually depressing. We have been customers there as long as I have been in the hobby and they have always been a great store. We grabbed a few of the remaining fish but there is like maybe a pair of clowns left. Dry goods are real spotty, probably not...

Max's Shallow Reef: An epic adventure of corals, fine beer, nonsense, and general insanity.

Get the coral viewer, I think flow is one of the most underrated factors in this hobby and I would not turn it down due to aesthetic reasons. Maybe look for the smaller gyre/icecap pump, it might do really well with your size tank and dimensions.

    Snowflake Eel disappeared

Check around more for the carcass, they can move quite a bit once they get out of your tank.

My IM Fluval 10G ZOA build

Nassarius snails also live in the sand bed and are good clean up crew. As far as cycle goes, you can always add an instant cycle product when you add your first fish if you want to be sure.

My IM Fluval 10G ZOA build

First off good choice with the white sand. While pretty, black sand can have grains in it that can be magnetic which if you use an algae scarper in the tank can lead to scratches. You don't need to run the gfo and carbon with no livestock in the tank. They are to pull impurities out and...
