This was my tank it was great but unfortunately I don’t have the space for it.

To tame the jungle of wires I employ a controller board and a cart from ikea. There is still room for additional equipment.

@Sponge. You might be right. But I am home now so we will continue to observe. I have reduced dosing to 5ml/day from 20ml/day. So in theory ph should rise in the next couple of days.

Used Kalkwasser primarily for its ability to neutralize co2 and secondly experimenting.

I use Kent marine. Didn’t know there is a big difference. Will drip from a bottle instead once I get the time to set it up.

@juano, @Sponge. No the co2 should not change as the windows were closed. There is almost no air exchange with the outside.

Well thought out sump. Great work. I am gonna disagree with people that refugium is not big enough, as the SOLE nutrient export. But you can always combine it with a little carbon dosing.

I have used a few osmolators over the course of last couple of years. The pump should last at least 3 or 4 years and the replacement is not too expensive. I only replaced one once. So what you have might be a dud. I suggest just get a new one through warranty or pay the $23 or so.

Tank still new so just want to do something easy. Raise PH a little in the process. Kalk stirrer is an investment. Long term I still want to do two parts. Going to try dripping from a bottle.

My attempt at kalk dosing has resulted in a messy ATO reservoir. I only used half tea spoon per gallon. Any suggestions? Tips?

Your LPS seem to be doing quite well. If it’s not growing maybe some additives can help.
