I will usually let excess food sit a day or so in the fridge. If you want to really do something cool, defrost the cubes and toss what the "correct" amount of a feeding is into an ice tray with some RODI water and freeze that. Then you have your own feeding portions ready to go.

The two downsides to DC pumps at the moment are not a lot of head pressure and non standard plumbing. Obviously the plumbing part is very easy to overcome, just can be a touch annoying. I think if you are sump in stand, the DC makes sense, but if you are in a basement (like me) the head loss...

I have never heard the clam part, though just about any fish will nip at a clam given the right conditions. Wrasses in that genus can go after CUC but their mouths are pretty small so they are not going to devastate a CUC, depending on whay you have. Same with cleaner shrimp, I think a well...

I have never done it, but you are essentially injecting kalk paste into the pest. Yes is can be done underwater. I know others have even had success with injecting boiling water.

Kalk, apstaia X or something like that. The magic wand will kill it, but there is some ancedotal talk that it just spreads them more.

They all do, they just come in pretty randomly. The size is going to dictate the price.

If he got nuked in the power head, I would be doing water changes and running extra carbon if you have it. I don't think some extra rodi water would kill a RBTA that quickly.

I have the Elos stand and I really don't worry about it at all. There is no wobble or anything that looks cheap about it. Is is built like a tank with metal and solid woods? No but I never go to bed worrying about it. The old stand on my 57g on the otherhand, that was cheap.

The coral plus bulb is a 14kish bulb so that balances out the blue+. The purple plus/KZ fiji pink is really just there for some color pop. I like the combo, probably would align really nicely with the 12-14k looks. I know people love the GE 6500 bulb as it packs really nice PAR, but the drop...
