Check out the quiet one 4000. I have been running the said pump for 4 years and no problem at all. It consumes half the electicity as the equivalent mag pumps.

I just got mine from empire mirror in matawan. You can call around glass shops. I got mine 1/4" thick and it costs $15 a piece.

So here's the spec from MarineDepot:
NAC7 Specifications

So the SP2000 is the new pump, right?
Looks like MarineDepot is having a 15% of sale for most of the skimmers. My tank is 75g with a 40g sump.
Considering the following:
Bubble Magus NAC7 - $217
AquaMaxx Cone 2 - $389 (is this too big???)
AquaMaxx Ecomaxx EM- $300 (again is this too big for my setup)
What are your...
I bought the aquarium silicon for my sump. It only costs $8. That's all I need to silicon three baffles. If you do get GE 1 make sure you get the Windows one. I have heard horrible stories of people lose their live stock and have to rebuild. Small chance that happening but still. Its just me...
Also keep in mind every elbow will reduce the flow rate. You will most likely have at least 3. You can use the calculator on RC. Also, more flow could mean noisier. And a 100w pump will generate a lot of heat if that's a concern.

Go for the 700. I run only 500gph and that's more enough for a 75g. You can always use powerheads to generate flow.

Or get a drilled tank. The standard 75g drilled tank is < $250 including all the plumbing and tax.
30g tank is perfect for a sump that can fit under a 75g stand.
Thanks. Do I need to bleach the rock after removing the bubble algae? Some of them are deep in the crevices of the rock and I am almost positive they'll burst.
I tested again. First I verified that my refractometer is calibrated and the salinity is exactly 35 ppt. The result is basically the same as yesterday.
When I use the 1 ml syringe there is always about 0.2 ml of air between the liquid and the plunger. I read the number from the plunger. But I...
Let me correct myself. I use a brand new red sea test kit. SG is tested using a refractometer. I use half cup/gallon of instant ocean and the SG should be close. Will test again tomorrow. The mg is high corresponding to the other high readings.

Today I tested my water for the first time. I use IO and Seachem foundation test kit. The water is new mixed two days ago.
Salinity : 35 ppt
CA = 500 ppm (it's the max the test kit can detect but the color did change almost completely)
Kh = 11.8 dKh
Mg = 1540 ppm
I tested carefully...
