i don't mind cleaning it and not worried about getting it dirty. current plans don't have it hidden under a cabinet, so i'm going to see it and would prefer to start with it clean anyway. that said, i will need a place to stash it for a while and i'm all out of room in the garage at the moment.

never owned an acrylic tank or sump. how well will this clean up? and what will i need to do it? i do have the novus acrylic polishes. don't mind putting in the work to get it looking nice, but no experience in knowing what it might take.

what about a tom lifter pump? old tech i know. i have a nib never used you are welcome to have to give it a try. iirc they are around a gallon or two an hour.

i think the biggest drawback with mobius is that the connection is only via bluetooth.

it can definitely pump continuously, but i'm not sure about the rate. AI says it can do 3.1 gph, but i'm not sure about AI...

totally agree. they seem to grow slow and don't do much ovious immediate damage. but they can slowly reach plague proportions and if they get growing in the rock crevices, good luck getting rid of them.

if you don't have a skimmer, are you running a filter sock, floss of filter pad? in my experience, you want something to help remove the resulting flocculated detritus.
