We have such great doctors. Last night, Saturday night two of our three neurologists called me to ask about my wife. One of them was her pain Mgt. Doctor. How many times has a doctor called you on a Saturday night to see how you are doing.
She is booking another ablation for my wife as soon as...
Unfortunately, my Dale was back in severe pain again last night. She took a half of a morphine pill, but I don't know yet if it helped. If it did and didn't get her sick. Maybe we will try a whole pill today.
They only gave her a few pills. I think CVS feels I am going to sell them in a van...
The Doctor was sending the Rx to a pharmacy 25 miles from my home instead of the Pharmacy up the block, where she had been sending prescriptions for the last 8 years. Go figure.
Dale got the nerve block yesterday and hit the ceiling with the needles. She is not much, if any better as of last night. It was supposed to work right away but it didn't. I think she was slightly better, but she says she is just getting used to it.
All the doctors say it just has to take time...
Thank God.! I called my wife's PT therapist who is a friend of her Pain Mgt Dr. She called her on her cell phone and the Dr. called me right back. We are going to her tomorrow morning first thing. She is only about 45 minutes away and usually the nerve block works right away.
The purpose of...
The Surgeon called. He doesn't think it's an infection. He gave her steroids and a painkiller. I thought the reason for this procedure was to get off steroids and painkillers.
I have a big problem today. My wife is still in pain, maybe more than before the surgery. I am waiting for the surgeon to call me but he is in surgery. As soon as the numbness wore off, the pain started. I don't know if there is an infection or the nerve is irritated but it is getting worse, not...
Last night I went to take a shower and I see that my wife put a large bottle of "Bath Soap" in my shower. But it wasn't really soap, It was "Stress Relief Lavender Body Wash".
I immediately told her that Real Men first of all don't get stress and if they did, Lavender, "make believe" soap is...
Changing a little water while I am running my DIY canister filter with a 5-micron element. I can put diatom powder in it, but I no longer use the powder.
Here I stirred up all the gravel as far as I could reach over the reverse undergravel filter
My morning walk down to the beach was un-eventful. I didn't take a picture at the surf because it's a gray morning.
This is over the golf course on my way there.
My fish seem fine, I can tell because many of them are doing the Macarena.
I have no idea how many fish I have because I have so many small, colorful gobies, dragonettes and bleenes along with the "real" fish, but I imagine I have about 40 or so.
None of these
Of course no spots...
She was a little better last night, so I am hoping she is better this morning when she gets up. Her jaw is a little numb and the surgeon said that may remain, but it is better than that pain.
I took off her bandage this morning and I was very surprised that there is little swelling and black and blue. But the surprising thing is that she looks exactly like Angelina Jolie.
Actually, she looks a lot better than her.
She thinks that main pain is gone. It's hard...
Our friends just came over with enough food for a week or more. Including 4 soups which I am grateful for because I'm not sure she can eat anything else right now. We have fantastic friends.
Thanks Diana. We got to the hospital at 4:30 this morning and just got home.
We didn't think they had to knock her out for this, but they did. It was pretty invasive as he had to burn he nerve that controls the right side of her face using a probe. Not too much I hope. We don't know if it...
