I took a video of the thing working. The mojano becomes a little ball of slime that disappears in an hour or so.

They are actually 12 volts and I am sure they would work on aiptasia. I know they even work on mushrooms. I showed my daughter yesterday and her, her fieace and my wife were haveing a mojano fest for a while. Now they have a new hobby and love to fry these things. I love the smell of burning...

Here are a couple of completed Zappers. I made a bunch for a LFS near my home and he has been selling them. They work much better than I thought they would work and they disintegrate mojanos in about 5 seconds, there is nothing left. I love this stuff. 8)

The skimmer is repaired and the bracket is re-designed with stainless steel so it should last forever. The skimmer didn't break, I broke it trying to remove a hose that had turned to glass over the years. One of the improvements is that the venturi valve is connected with a union so I can remove...

The thing was due for some maintenance anyway. This was galvanized steel and is the bracket that was under the skimmer and supported it's weight. I am replacing it with stainless steel.

I am fairly sure it would destroy any water based animal. I doubt it would do anything to crabs and snails which don't tend to fall apart as easily. I can touch the probe to a hermit crab and he does not even seem to notice anything

A friend of mine owns a large LFS and his reefs are loaded with mojanos so I made the mistake of telling him that I built this mojano zapper. He had to try it so I brought it there today and he loves the thing. He destroyed about 75 mojanos in about 15 minutes. And in his tank they are huge...

I have a couple of old hermits that are spawning. I don't remember when I got them but it is at least 12 years or longer ago. The male in the foreground has her pushed up against that bubble coral. He is pushing her so hard that he is lifting her [I]and[I] the 8" bubble coral. I am surprised...

A friend of mine owns a LFS near my home and his tanks are loaded with mojanos. Very large ones, so I am going to try to go there today and test the device on larger mojanos. I may need to bring a larger transformer to generate more power for these suckers but it will be a good test.
