    personally, i have never ordered corals from online retailers, for me i like to see what im getting before i make the purchase. Also most LFS's are willing to negotiate and like @erics210 mentioned, most have sales that you can take advantage of. what LFS's have you visited @Ruth C Lewis ?

    could be a pocillopora coral.....maybe try lowering it a bit....could be getting blasted under a hot spot but if you had it for 6months, could be something else that recently bothering it

    What tank do you have? Do you have a media basket? If so you can mod up a mini fuge in there (depending on your tanks set up)

    For a nano, if possible run a skimmer....that with some filter media and water changes should hold you off. Just also plan on having a very lightly stocked tank given the small water volume
