Any magnet that's fully sealed should do the trick. Important part is that it's sealed well, and no metal is ever exposed to SW which would cause rust.

Bleach takes care of aiptasia. If you want to set it up right away, Berghia. Once they breed, they will eat all of it including inside the pipes.

Should be a short run if you position the pumps close, and if you are using Red Sea tubes, they give you like 10 feet :-)

I agree with Kevin, if it's cracked, dump it. But for the future if the new one gets gunked up also, muriatic acid dip will do the trick nicely.

quartz can be cleaned, don't throw it away.

all I am saying is, don't rely on the water. Check the stand. The tank will settle on the foam with more weight.

Check if the stand is level. Tank will level out on the mat with more water.
