Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Cool deal, thanks art. I'll do a bit of reading on tie rods and such so I'll be a little less clueless. Appreciate the info, makes me think I'll set up with a local mechanic to do a full exam before I write the check.
Hi Joe, just an FYI. These tend to multiply to pandemic levels (as does pulsing xenia). They're a great starter coral as they are very easy to keep and look nice, but once in your tank they'll be there until you take a flamethrower to your rocks. Then they may propagate on the flamethrower.
Thanks guys. The rumble occurred when I turned into a parking spot very sharply, i was basically pushing the turning radius to the extreme left. There was a bit of a rumble with a low symetrical clicking. As said, he told me that the 33" tires were causing a rub and the mild clicking wasnt out...
Car folks, help please. I'm looking to buy a used Jeep. Found one on Craigslist, local, and test drove it. Its a 2000 Wrangler, specifically, this one...
Jeep Wrangler Sport- Hard Top, 6cyl. Cleanest on CL
We got the carfax and there's no incident of accident, there is regular maintenance. So...
I am currently in the market for my first jeep. Looking for an older wrangler (1991-2001) that I can beat the crap out of and repair as necessary. Just sent out 3 e-mails to sellers before I opened NJR to find this post. :)
New stocking thoughts. Want to have a maxed out active tank with a few small (<1") tenants.
With the new scape, there's a good amount of grow space as well as considerable swim space.
Corals
Mixed zoas
2-3 mushrooms
1 small acan
Frogspawn or Hammer (are LPS possible in a 8g pico)?

+1 on the BRS kit, the 1 gallon kit specifically... BRS 2 Part Calcium & Alkalinity Total Package - Bulk - Bulk Reef Supply
That, and a $99 Jaebo doser made a world of difference, and stability/growth, in my tank. I was manually dosing and was constantly off. Once I ran a dosing setup I just...
Rescape. Had a bit of time, some rock and a hammer.
Wanted to get as complex as possible while maintaining flow in a 10" x 10" area with enough shelving and space to grow a decent zoa garden with an acon on the bed.

Going to peroxide...
Thanks all. Went ahead a built the scape on a piece of starboard (pics in build thread). I'll spray with peroxide then cure in the tank (which is currently empty).
I've got my 90 in the kitchen, which is directly above my basement. I installed it near the wall so its close to a main support beam (and the base of the wall) and made sure it rested evenly across the cross support beams (running perpindicular to the wall and under the kitchen floor). No...
Decided to do some new, semi-complex aquascaping in the new pico tank.
Have a few pieces of rock that are too small to acid bath but have old/dead organics on them (algae and such).
I've never used used dry rock and I'm unsure if any type of algae 'spores' and could survive.
Is it worth running...
Tang nibbles on the odd algae but I've never seen him hit a coral, been keeping a dubious eye on him lately. Don't think he's the problem.
Not to mention the arms on the surviving head are seemingly beginning to atrophy.
Did a dip in Revive.
Took a shot while it was in there.
Visual inspection didn't reveal anything that looked like it might be Brown Jelly,
but unsure if the pink/red things are around the rim are dangerous or just an incidental finding.
