I agree with the other two responses…fish trap. You may buy, borrow or make one. Search DIY fish trap and see what you get. I even think I remember one made from a used soda bottle…pretty simple. In regard to your sump/refugium….for one, if you have the room below, no problem switching it out...

I agree with Dave. If your interests right now are FOWLR, just buy a HD fixture. I have a couple of these on freshwater tanks. You can do this for under 20 clams. If future interests are for corals, no big loss…and you have saved on bulb costs and electrical consumption…it pays for itself!
