I remember you were doing carbon dosing. Did it yield any positive result? It is very common for a new setup to go thru many phases of algae blooms so maybe you can give the carbon dosing a little more time.

They are orange spotted filefish.

I have had some. Both aquarium care center and tropiquarium bring them in on a regular basis. If SPS grow well in your tank you should not have problem keeping wild ones. Color is a different story. As coral color is highly dependent on the lighting and water parameters. Some will just brown out...

The kenya tree I have breaks off all the time but I have not heard people having toadstool split like that. It closed up for a week then one piece starting to separate.

In the first pic the toadstool is dropping a baby. In the second pic the hammer extends so much half of it looks like a torch.
