With those big waterchanges it should help drop the phosphates. The cheato won’t like to grow of thier is little nitrates, so it does not suck up the phopahates of thier isn’t much nitrates as well. Some gfo wouldn’t hurt with how many softies there is in there. Some people believe that heavily...
Hey bud what light do you have over it? Normally I hang a random lightbulb from the stand to oower a fuge but I think with my new tank I want one that clamps onto the glass of the tank
Also sending out an icp test the day you test will also help to see how far off your kits are. My salifert always reads higher then my hanna and the icp tests. It may also show something you aren’t testing for.
They are really nice and they always have a chance to get better. If I was to get one of the torches that are amazing I would get it straight from the source just so I know that I can sleep easy and say that mine precisely came from tsa or wwc or some store/dealer who has the original colony...
While I cycle the new tank and continuously introduce my biocube a dirty waterchange water and some sand to increase bacteria , here are a few pictures of my favorite acros in the cube.
When they settle in, and fluff up it may be easier to relate them to other strains a bit easier. Wether the polpys stay short or get long or get super long is all a factor. They are both nice but it depends what they look like when they fully settle in.
At some point I will plan to hang a grow light over my new sump, I will section off the skimmer in the back with some live rock and in the from keep the dragons breath. I used to have it in my old 75 sump and this was so hardy it outgrew my cheato and looked nice as well.
I’d also like to thank @mnat for helping me move the tank and helped leveling the stand. The leveling feet on the waterboxes are a bit annoying because there is so many of them and it requires small adjustments, and tilting back up and then measure.
The 29 will be taken down but the passion continues!! As mike pointed out, there’s a project in the works. I finally got to fully setting up my pride and joy that’s been slowly coming together. The 29 biocube will make its way over to the next town and transferred into my new waterbox 130.4 !!
Well guys it was a fun ride with the biocube. The tank did not crash but the corals are just getting way too big. The biocube is at my dads house and I now live elsewhere. So I will be taking down the biocube.
my rodi u it is so old the pressure gauge doesn’t work. I am not handy at all so I never replaced it. I wonder what my pressure really is and how much I’m wasting.
Here is alittle tinkering with a free app can do so for you. This is what it would look like if it was just under the violets and deep blues from reefbrites.
